About
We are the Schroeder Family—Ben, Anna, and our four children—sent to make Christ known in Querétaro, Mexico. God has given us a deep burden to plant Gospel-centered churches in a region where many have little to no access to the truth of Jesus. In early 2025, we stepped out by faith and approached our church leadership with our desire to church plant in Mexico. We are deeply thankful for our church family and are being sent out by Foothill Bible Church. Their faithful support and encouragement have strengthened us on our journey to serve the Lord. In July 2025, we have been appointed by Biblical Ministries Worldwide to serve as church planters in Mexico.
Our mission is clear: to proclaim Christ, make disciples, and see lives transformed for His glory.

Meet Benjamin
From a young age, I was immersed in ministry. My family's journey took us from the northern woods of Wisconsin, where my dad founded Victory Academy for troubled boys, to a church plant in the Chicago area. I also helped at a rescue mission, seeing firsthand the powerful need for the Gospel in a city plagued by sin. These experiences are what led me to feel God's call to ministry.
I began studying Spanish in junior high and pursued it all the way through college. An internship with missionaries in Peru solidified my love for the Spanish-speaking community.
Growing up in a pastor's home has given me a unique understanding of ministry, equipping me to share the Gospel in a way that is relatable and connects with people from all walks of life.
Meet Anna
Growing up in Denver, Colorado, I was privileged to be raised in a Christian home. We often had missionaries in our home, and their stories of God’s work around the world sparked a lifelong passion in me. As a teenager, I went on several mission trips to Mexico, and in high school, I felt God's call to missions.
After graduating, I spent a summer in Hermosillo, Mexico, where I improved my Spanish, immersed myself in the culture, and gained a deeper understanding of missionary life. This experience confirmed my calling, so I pursued a degree in elementary education with the mission field in mind.
In 2012, God opened the door for me to serve as a teacher and missionary in Albania with David and Kristi Hosaflook. While there, I had the privilege of serving in a small church plant and help with a weekly kids’ club for the Roma people. My time in Albania exposed the dire need for the Gospel in a country deeply affected by communism.
Because of these experiences, I have desire to build relationships with others and share the life-changing truth of the Gospel to those who need it the most.
Our Calling
Anna and I first met at Bob Jones University, though we were more acquaintances than friends. I graduated in 2010 with a degree in Bible and a minor in music, and Anna graduated in 2011 with a degree in elementary education. Our paths diverged for a few years as Anna went to Albania, and I pursued my Master's degree at Moody Bible Seminary. In 2013, we reconnected on Facebook and began communicating more regularly. We quickly realized our goals and passions aligned. After Anna returned to the States in 2014, we started dating and were married in June of 2015. We actively served together in our local church, where I led the youth and music ministries, and Anna served alongside me. The Lord directed our steps in 2016 when we stepped out in faith, and moved to Lincoln, California. I began serving as the youth, music, and family pastor at Foothill Bible Church under the leadership of Lead Pastor Verne Nakasone. Now, after years of ministry here, we believe God has directed our hearts to a specific desire to share our faith in the spiritually dark and unreached parts of Mexico. We are following His call to church plant in Querétaro, Mexico with BMW international associate Pastor Marco and Luz Garcia.
